Stretched Pineapple

Spend your time at home by creating one of our zero waste concept cocktails!

A concoction inspired primarily by the idea of stretching the use of pineapple to every part – juices as the main body, fermenting the skin for a surprise twist, and the leftover from the juice to snack on.

All of the pineapple! ZERO WASTE!

Ingredients:

  • 50 ml white rum
  • 5 ml fresh lime juice
  • 6 pieces of fresh mint leaves
  • 120 ml Tepache


Tepache Ingredients:

  • 1 L Pineapple juice
  • Pineapple skin
  • Pineapple leaves
  • 10g Tamarind
  • 150g Brown sugar
  • 3 pieces of cinnamon stick


How to make Tepache:

  • 1. Put all the ingredients together in a closed mason jar.
  • 2. Let it ferment for 5 days


How to make Stretched Pineapple:

  • 1. Combine together ingredients in 1 tall glass over ice
  • 2. Stir
  • 3. Enjoy


Garnish with Pineapple Candy, upcycled from leftover pineapple juice pulp!
