Experience

To honor local culture and immerse guests in authentic experiences is the Alila Villas Uluwatu philosophy. Lose yourself in local rituals to gain a deeper understanding of Bali culture. Learn how to craft Canang Sari, traditional Balinese offerings of gratitude to god, while taking in breathtaking vistas of the Indian Ocean at our Cliff Edge Cabana. Dressed in Balinese attire, you will then visit Uluwatu Temple, one of the most sacred temples in Bali, to present your Canang Sari. Against the backdrop of a breathtaking Bali sunset, witness the beauty of a traditional percussive Kecak dance performance at the temple’s entrance. Back at the resort, complete your embrace of local tradition with Balinese afternoon tea at The Warung.
