Zero Food Waste

Food waste often ends up in landfills where it generates greenhouse gases that contribute to climate change. As such, reducing food waste is something we can all do to help protect the environment.

At Alila Solo, we are committed to doing our part. In our mission to eliminate food waste sent to landfill, we’re excited to launch our Zero Food Waste program. From now on, all dry and wet food waste generated at the hotel will be collected and recycled to create various new and useful products such as fruit candy, poultry and fish feed, and organic fertilizer for use in our Sky Garden – a positive next step in our sustainability journey.
