A visit to Colva beach and Palacio de Deao

Colvá is a coastal village in Salcete, South Goa, on the west coast of India. It is a famous tourist destination, visited for its white sandy beaches, shacks, food stalls, restaurants, pubs and bars. Palacio de Deao is a 213 year-old-mansion that was built by a Portuguese nobleman, who was the Dean and Founder of the Quepem Church and town. Enjoy a heritage tour through the house and wind up with a home cooked meal.

Discover Goa and Experience feeding the Eagles

4 Hours | INR 5500 per adult + two kids under 6 years old

Discover the true, authentic and unspoiled Goa away from the tourist trail. The coastal route takes you through small villages still filled with old and unique traditions and simple handicrafts. Watch potters at work and mats being woven, and see how the juice of the palm is transformed into the famous Goan drink – Feni. Go uphill for a bird’s-eye view from the 16th century Fort Cabo De Rama, followed by the spectacular sight of eagle feeding. Watch Brahmin kites make attempts to grab pieces of meat floating in the water as much larger sea eagles glide intimidatingly above, ready to swoop in and steal it from under their beaks. For lunch, you will be taken to the famous Palolem Beach, where you can eat, swim and relax before returning to the resort with amazing photos and very special memories.

Meet the Podher

One Hour | INR 2,000 per couple and two kids under age of 6 years

Nothing beats the aroma and taste of freshly baked bread. Drop by the local breadman, known as ‘Podher’ and join him as he works his magic with a mixture of flour, yeast, water and lots of heat. In this case seeing, as well as tasting, is believing!

Colva beach and Goa Chitra Museum

2 Hours | INR 4,000 per couple + 2 kids under age of 6 years

Goa Chitra is an ethnographic Museum in Benaulim, Goa, showcasing traditional Goan farming implements and other Goan antiques.

Spice Farm and Shantadurga Temple

4 Hours | INR 4,000 per couple + 2 kids under age of 6 years

The Tropical Spice Plantation is located in Keri, a village untouched by pollution, 6 kms off the taluka of Ponda. It is spread over a large tract of verdant land, which offers the perfect setting for you to soak in pure unadulterated nature. Enjoy a traditional welcome before embarking on a guided tour of the plantation where you can learn about various spices and their medicinal values ending an exquisite Goan lunch. Indulge in a riot of colors in the butterfly garden and delight in the sight of over 75 spices of birds within the plantation.

Shantadurga Temple is a large temple at the foothill of the Kavalem village in Ponda. A small laterite mud shrine was built and a deity was installed here. The mud-shrine was converted into a beautiful temple whose foundation stone was laid in 1730 and the temple was completed in 1738.
