Doris Goh

Head of Brands and Marketing

Doris has an illustrious career spanning more than twenty years in the hospitality industry. She was the first Asian woman to serve as education chairperson at the Association of Corporate Travel Executives (ACTE) for Asia and as the representative on the Asia Pacific Council. A well-respected professional, her work earned much recognition, which bagged the ACTE President's Award in 2002 for her regional contributions. March 2009 saw Harper’s Bazaar Japan profiled her work in their story on ‘successful Asian career women’. Industry awards had her on the 2013 List of the Top 100 “Most Influential People in the Hospitality Industry” and the 2016 CMO ASIA List of Asia’s 50 Woman Leaders for the Leadership Excellence Award. Doris was the first person appointed to set up the Alila corporate HQ in Singapore where she steered global sales & marketing to grow brand Alila. She was most recently Chief Marketing Office at Two Roads Hospitality Asia. Doris will be joining the Asia Pacific Marketing team in the capacity of Head of Brand and Marketing for brand Alila in Asia Pacific.

Sean Brennan

Head of Openings & Transitions – Alila, ASPAC

Already a key member of the Two Roads Hospitality Asia family, Sean Brennan joined the Alila brand in 2007 as the opening General Manager at Alila Villas Uluwatu to launch the new crafted luxury brand. Under his leadership, the property has achieved significant success and much recognition for its service quality. With his 32 years of hospitality experience in Australia, Hilton properties in Kuala Lumpur and Singapore, Millennium Hilton Bangkok, Grand Hilton Seoul, and armed with a degree in Hotel Operations and Hotel Management from Switzerland, he brings together a winning combination of dynamism and creativity. Of dual nationality – Australian and British – Sean’s well-honed leadership and people skills will oversee all Two Roads Hospitality Asia new development.

Marco Groten

Head of Operations – Alila, ASPAC

Fluent in Bahasa Indonesia, Marco is the quintessential Dutch gentleman. Hs exciting career in resort management covered a span of 21 years bringing him from the Netherlands to Indonesia, the Caribbeans, Thailand and the Maldives with Six Senses. In 2009, as the opening GM for Alila Villas Soori, Marco was the first to put Tabanan on the Bali map, successfully curating the West Bali Jouneys and creating distinctive experiences to position it as one of Bali’s premier resorts. He went on to lead the team at Alila Villas Uluwatu exceeding revenue budgets every year. He was recently Regional General Manager for Bali and will be joining Hyatt as Head of Operations for brand Alila in Asia Pacific.

Julian Ayers

General Manager - Middle East

Julian Ayers has a wealth of experience from various international management positions in India, Oman, the Caribbean, Indonesia and the UK. His most recent role prior to joining Two Roads Hospitality Asia was as General Manager of the Eros Hotel managed by Hilton Hotels in Delhi, India. In his new roles, Julian Ayers will oversee his respective region’s day-to-day operations, sales and marketing activities and manage future growth strategies. He will be working closely with their regional development teams to help execute Two Roads Hospitality Asia’s growth plans in the key markets of India and the Middle East.

Taufik Rachman

Head of Travel Trade – Alila, ASPAC

Taufik has a 20-year career span in boutique luxury sales which started with GHM in Indonesia before joining Alila Jakarta in 2001 to launch the first hotel under Brand Alila. He has very successfully positioned brand Alila on the global travel map. Taufik was most recently the VP, Global Sales - Travel Trade at Two Roads Hospitality Asia. He will be joining the Asia Pacific Sales team as Head of Travel Trade for brand Alila in Asia Pacific.

Alonzo Kaya

Director of Digital – Alila, ASPAC

Alonzo Kaya will be joining the Asia Pacific Digital team in the capacity of Director of Digital, for brand Alila in Asia Pacific. Alonzo has been involved in digital and e-commerce for the last 15 years, working with The Westin Resort Nusa Dua Bali, Aratana Japan, Venetian Macau and most recently as Group Director of Digital & E-commerce at Two Roads Hospitality Asia.

Bastien Touzeau

Director, Performance Optimization – Alila, ASPAC

5-time Ironman Bastien’s personal best timing clocks in at 5:26 hours for 1.9 km swim, 90 km biking and 21.1 km run. Tasked to cultivate the entrepreneurship culture at Alila as Director of the Performance Optimization Group, he is a tough operator with the patience of a saint. Often misunderstood, he is the master strategist in ensuring optimal operational performance and long-term term asset enhancements for Alila properties.

Bastien joined Alila five years ago as Assistant Development Manager And went on to become the first Director for Revenue Management at home office. He successfully implemented a group-wide revenue management culture and set-up SOPs for operating and pre-opening hotels. He will be joining the Hyatt family as Director, Performance Optimization.

Chris Anklin

Head of Development - Alila, ASPAC

Chris Anklin is one of the few Vikings who made the development team at Two Roads Hospitality - Asia. Born of Swiss/Norwegian nationality, he is responsible for expanding the hotel portfolio across South East Asia, India and the Middle East.

Chris has been in Asia for the last 20 years with more than eight years of consulting experience across EMEA and Asia Pacific in hotel investment and asset management including steering a hospitality start-up in Hong Kong. He has written and published several articles on the hospitality industry and served as the EHL Alumni Chapter President for Great Britain. Chris has spent over 20 years in Asia.

C.J. Liang

Head of Development - Alila, China

CJ's career over the last 20 years has been full on. Her lifestyle industry experience took off as the Taiwan Director of De Beers and since then, it has all been hospitality. She takes every opportunity to balance boardrooms with nature, particularly forests and beaches. She likes to dive, swim, walk and keep fit by way of a gym and yoga routine. At home, CJ loves to cook and read. At work, she loves collaboration, winning deals and a good laugh.
