Greg Williams
General Manager
Originally from Sydney, Australia, Greg Williams has worked at multiple resorts across Australia, Fiji and the Maldives, which has helped hone his experience in resorts operations. He is particularly drawn to Alila Sothea because of the resort’s commitment and strong connection with the local communities. A firm believer that a positive staff community is key to guest satisfaction, Greg places high importance on maintaining a high morale amongst his team at this exclusive luxury resort and five star hotel in Cambodia. Alila recognize him as a GM appreciative of staff who are passionate about their work, and bring personality to the property. Greg’s adventurous soul has led him to try everything from surfing to sky diving in his extensive travels but he is particularly passionate about trekking in the Himalayas; in 2003 he climbed the Mera Peak, Nepal’s highest trekking peak at 6476m. Greg is very excited with his current challenge and the opportunity to discover the cultural charms of Cambodia.

Brandon Bollenbacher

Chef Brandon credits his early passion for good food to the days when he grew up in Fresno in California’s Central Valley, the largest produce-growing area of the US where seasonal fruits and vegetables are always abundantly available. After studying Food Science at college and graduating from the California Culinary Academy in San Francisco, he began his first taste of the tropical culinary world in Keoki’s Paradise, Hawaii. Brandon subsequently joined the Amangani in Jackson Hole, Wyoming, part of the Amanresorts luxury boutique hotel group. During his six years there, he gained valuable experience in front of house, as pastry chef and chef garde manger responsible for developing new menus. He looks forward to pouring his passion for travel and discovery of new people and cultures into a menu packed with fresh, exciting and authentic flavours.
