Alila Villas Uluwatu, opening its doors in 2009, was rated "must-visit" by Condé Nast Traveler US. "A member of Design Hotels, its 87 contemporary villas are spread over a limestone plateau, and its communal areas will include a plush clifftop and a restaurant on the cliff's edge, with sweeping sea views."

Alila Ubud, "a tranquil and secluded hillside retreat", was listed by the notable Australian luxury travel magazine as one of the top ten luxury resorts in Bali. Alila Ubud was hand-picked by the magazine's 'brains trust', "which is made up of unique teams of experienced editors, writers and leading industry experts".
