My view on diving is that one should not chase around species to see, nature will present them as a gift to you when the time is right. Living up to this philosophy staying at the Alila Manggis is not so hard. I was curious what nature would present to me this time. The first gift I got was the Mantis shrimp. It was the first time I ever got to see the rare lobster. Then the great Barracuda came along. As if this was not enough, we stumbled upon the rare Ghost pipefish. I had seen this rare creature before, but the clear waters of Bali offered me my first opportunity to take a good picture of it. Then I got to dive with Manta Ray.
