Came here to attend a wedding, I must say its a lovely place to stay, clean and nice rooms. Staff are helpful and friendly and most important speak good fluent English. Especially love the Alila spa here, we took a couple room and it was a really huge room. Splendid massage, did a 90min, not expensive. Lots of Singaporeans stay here, mostly for business trip.

I have been in Alila several times, stayed in standard room and suites, at least 3 different kinds of them. Rooms were clean and neat and Internet were free. Although there weren't much to see near the hotel, but the hotel itself was good enough. I enjoyed the time I stayed in the hotel. There were Cafe and restaurant on the first floor, cozy space for breakfast and a lobby with sofas where you could meet friends. Now there was one floor remodeled to an executive lounge provided better service, which was really impressive! I would love to stay at Alila everytime I go to Jakarta!

After travelling 2 days from Canada, we arrived in Jakarta around midnight, and I was so happy to have this beautiful room booked and able to relax in for 2 nights. I really liked our room with its modern uncluttered look, but that is the style I prefer. We were not able to sample the breakfast buffet due to arrive and departure times, but we were able to both indulge in massages/body scrubs in the beautiful spa on the 6th floor. The outdoor pool looked so inviting, but due to time we were not able to enjoy it. We had a room on the 18th floor, which gave us a great view of the city, especially on New Years Eve 2011 which gave us a spectacular fireworks display for hours! We both enjoyed this hotel.
