3 Nagas by Alila is a perfect marriage of contemporary design and Lao heritage, featuring exotic-wood floors, traditional “torchis” walls and clay tile roofs. Simplicity reigns, with elegant touches and attention to the smallest of details that add to the unique charm of the hotel.

There is a sense of intimacy here with just 15 rooms and suites located in two separate houses. Eight rooms are located in The Khamboua House, a jewel of traditional Lao architecture. Built in 1903, it opens onto a beautiful 500-square-metre garden edging the Nam Khan River. Here you can relax and enjoy glimpses of the serene Lao lifestyle. The other seven rooms are located in The Lamache House, built originally in 1898 to host the then royal family, and converted into an ice-cream factory in the 1930s. Following recent restoration, its heritage has been thoughtfully preserved through the use of traditional materials and construction techniques, working in harmony with 21st century comforts to create a uniquely stylish and relaxing environment.
